Many of our favorite late-summer events in Northern California were postponed or canceled due to the COVID pandemic. Fortunately, technology is on our side, and a variety of fun activities are still being held online for everyone to enjoy safely. Though a train trip wonāt be required to reach these virtual destinations, we encourage you to support these organizations and partners along our route by checking out their online events.
On Monday, August 3, 2020, at 12:00 am, road closures on Centennial Boulevard and Stars and Stripes Drive will go into effect.
These closures are in place for the pre-construction and construction of Related Santa Clara, a new mixed-use urban center. Construction is set to last from 2021 to 2023 and Centennial Boulevard and Stars and Stripes Drive will be closed until further notice.
Vehicles traveling eastbound can access the Santa Clara Great America Train Station via a new exit ramp. All traffic leaving the Great America Train Station area will exit northbound on the new temporary road. The new exit ramp willĀ also have a multiuse path for two-way bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
