“Outside My Window” Photo Contest Voting Now In Session Until November 5th
Our “Outside My Window” photo contest has ended with the submission deadline on Saturday, October 22! We’ve received many entries showing beautiful scenic images along the Capitol Corridor route, and now its time to vote for the winners! The public voting period is Sunday, October 23 through Saturday, November 5. If you submitted a photo, be sure to let your friends know and encourage them to vote for your photo here. Five contest participants will win awesome prizes, including a grand prize getaway to Truckee in North Lake Tahoe!
Late Train Available for Sacramento Kings Games
On Thursday, October 27, the Sacramento Kings basketball team will host their first regular-season home game versus the San Antonio Spurs, and on Saturday, October 29, they will face the Minnesota Timberwolves. Both games start at 7:30pm and are at the new Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento, just minutes by foot from the Sacramento train station. With our westbound train departing at 10:30pm seven days a week, you’ll be able to travel to and from the games on the Capitol Corridor for a stress-free, traffic-free ride that avoids the hassle and expense of downtown parking. There will not be, however, a Yolobus Y Shuttle heading back to the Davis Station after 10:30pm. For more information about Capitol Corridor’s Golden 1 Center service, click here.

Amtrak Double Days Guest Rewards Ends on November 19
Amtrak Guest Rewards riders can now earn double points from travel to over 500 destinations, including those along the Capitol Corridor! This promotion is valid through November 19, 2016. To participate in the promotion and qualify for rewards, you must be registered as an Amtrak Guest Rewards member and include your membership number when booking your travel.
