Damaged or demagnetized BART tickets can be exchanged or refunded
Take your ticket to a BART Station Agent who will test the ticket. If you wish a refund the Agent will take the ticket and issue a Refund/Payment Receipt. Your ticket and the original copy of the Refund/Payment Receipt will be forwarded to the Treasury Department where a refund check will be issued and mailed. This process generally takes 10-14 working days.
If you wish to exchange your ticket you can take it to one of the following locations to obtain your new ticket.
