Travel Green With Capitol Corridor
This Earth Day, we are excited to introduce a new section of our website highlighting what makes Capitol Corridor green. Capitol Corridor has a higher occupancy rate during commute hours than cars, making it more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. And the more people who ride, the greener it gets! Emeryville Parking Closing for Construction
Starting this Sunday, April 26, the parking lot at Emeryville will be closed for approximately one year due to the construction of a new office building and parking garage. Up to 125 parking spaces will be provided in the Terraces parking garage at 5855 Horton Street, which is adjacent to the station. As before, passengers will receive free validated parking by returning to the train station and requesting both a parking pass and access card from the station agent. Read more.
Southbound 680 Marina Vista/Waterfront Rd. Exit to Close Through October 2015
On Monday, April 27, 2015, Caltrans will close the southbound off-ramp from Interstate 680 to Marina Vista/Waterfront Rd. The closure will remain in effect until October 2015 while the contractor removes the old off-ramp structure and builds a new structure. Passengers trying to access the Martinez station from the I-680 southbound exit will need to detour to the Arthur Rd. exit, which is about one mile away from the Marina Vista off-ramp. Kids under 10 attend for free, and are sure to enjoy playing with their feathered friends.
