Due to the King wild fire near Lake Tahoe and the resulting closure of Highway 50, connecting bus service between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe will operate on a detour route bypassing Placerville. Also, buses from South Lake Tahoe going to Sacramento will operate on a modified schedule (see below) until Wednesday, September 24 or until the highway reopens.

The schedule for bus 3424 (connecting from Capitol Corridor train 524) to South Lake Tahoe will remain the same, with the stop in Placerville eliminated; however, the schedule for bus 3447 (connecting to Capitol Corridor train 547) will be modified to depart South Lake Tahoe 50 minutes earlier. The modified schedule is as follows:

– Departure Stateline NV: 1:30 p.m. instead of 2:20 p.m.

– Departure Stateline CA: 1:35 p.m. instead of 2:25 p.m.

– Departure South Lake Tahoe: 1:45 p.m. instead of 2:35 p.m.

– NO PLACERVILLE STOP
