On Wednesday, November 25 only, there will be 2 additional bus trips scheduled to provide service between Grover Beach and the San Jose Amtrak station (including the stop at Cal Poly), so that passengers will have more train connection options during the busiest travel day of the year.

Travel reminders . . .
All connecting buses require advance reservations, and during Thanksgiving week buses fill up very quickly. For this reason, we encourage passengers to book their travel in advance, and if possible, try to avoid traveling on the busiest days – the day before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after. Please also be reminded of Amtrak’s baggage policy. You may bring two bags and two carry-on personal items, collectively weighing up to 150 pounds, for free. Excess baggage will cost $20.
