Due to the Independence Day holiday, the following changes will be in effect this week. Please note that Capitol Corridor trains and buses will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule on Friday, July 4.
*** THURSDAY, JULY 3 ***
No service to Colfax (COX) motorcoach stop all day. This will affect the following buses: 3524, 3528, 3534, 3537, 3543, and 3551.
*** FRIDAY, JULY 4 ***
Capitol Corridor will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule.
Temporary adjustments to the following San Francisco motorcoach stops:
- San Francisco Ferry Building (SFC) – This stop will be temporarily moved to Steuart and Mission streets, approximately 1-1/2 blocks (west, across the Embarcadero) from the SFC stop. This will affect buses 6696, 6698, 5014, 6615, 6647, 6699, 6617, 6651, 6014, 4763, 4769, 4768, and 3403.
- San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf (SFW) – Service to this stop will be suspended from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight, affecting eastbound buses 6696, 6698, and 5014 and westbound buses 6615, 6647, 6699, 6617, 6651, and 6014. Passengers should walk approximately 1 mile south along the east (pier) side of The Embarcadero to the SFC stop, where a station agent will be available to provide directions to the SFC alternate stop at Steuart and Mission streets.
Temporary adjustment to Truckee (TRU) motorcoach stop:
The Truckee Amtrak Station stop will be suspended from approximately 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. During this time, passengers will be picked up/dropped off at the parking lot behind the Beacon Gas Station at 10009 Donner Pass Rd. in Truckee.
Other motorcoach stop adjustments on July 4:
- Solvang (SLV): Due to the July 4 parade, buses 4763 and 4764 will pick up and drop off passengers at an alternate location, Laurel and Attadog Rd., only if the parade is not over by 12:30 p.m.
- Sparks, Nevada (SPX): This stop will be be closed at approximately 4:00 p.m. affecting buses 3534 and 3551.
On Saturday, July 5, Capitol Corridor will resume regularly scheduled weekend service.
