This year, Capitol Corridor is offering our Stitch 'n Ride passengers an exclusive 50% discount off train travel to the Santa Clara/ Great America station from February 23-26, 2012 for travel to Stitches West.
Taking the train to Stitches West, at the Santa Clara Convention Center February 23rd - 26th, is a fantastic, traffic-free way to travel. You can relax, showcase your latest finished projects to other knitters and crocheters, and share ideas. The Santa Clara Convention Center is just a 10-15 minute walk from the Santa Clara/Great America train station (shuttles will not be provided this year).
At Capitol Corridor we always strive to improve your rider experience and many of you continue to help us in providing input by participating in our ridership surveys. Based on your feedback over the past few years the Capitol Corridor is making adjustments in our travel offerings to Stitches West. This year, we will not have a special, dedicated train to Stitches West with onboard activities. Instead, we are offering great deals on ALL trains for each of the four days of the convention to accommodate guests who would like to attend more than one day and who prefer to have flexible travel options. You can still get together with your friends and Stitch 'n Ride to Santa Clara - best of all, this 50% discount will leave you more money for what you want most... more yarn! Book in advance!
