On Wednesday, July 26, due to an evening event at Levi’s Stadium, Tasman Dr. between Great America Parkway and the Santa Clara/Great America Station will be closed starting at 2pm. Capitol Corridor passengers will be granted access to the Santa Clara/Great America Station at the security checkpoint located at the Tasman & Calle del Sol (Carl’s Jr.) intersection.
In addition, the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will post a security Officer at the entrance to the Great America Station P&R lot from 2 to 7pm to allow only Capitol Corridor & ACE passengers to park their vehicles there. Customers who enter the Great America Station P&R lot during this time will be asked to display their rail ticket to the security officer.
Passengers in this area should prepare for heavy traffic due to the event, which starts at 6pm.
