Annual Business Plan Workshops 2022

Between January 18 and 20, 2022, the Capitol Corridor will hold virtual public workshops via Zoom to present its Draft FY 2022-23 – FY 2023-24 Annual Business Plan. You can view the Draft Business Plan here.

The Annual Business Plan (ABP) presents an overview of the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority’s (CCJPA’s) strategic plan and funding request for the next two fiscal years.

This is an excellent opportunity for current riders or any or anyone interested in the Capitol Corridor service to learn more about and have a say in our future. We will be hosting three online workshops, each of which requires registration: (All times are PST)

Reno & South Lake Tahoe Connecting Bus Service to Resume on Wednesday, December 29; Delays & Further Cancellations Possible

On Thursday, December 30, buses are expected to resume service between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe/Stateline and between Auburn and Truckee/Reno. Travelers should expect delays, and more cancellations are possible as we monitor weather and road conditions.

Due to ongoing winter weather conditions and highway closures in the Sierra, connecting bus service between Auburn and Truckee/Reno and between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe/Stateline have been cancelled on the following days:

    • Friday, December 24
    • Saturday, December 25
    • Sunday, December 26
    • Monday, December 27
    • Tuesday, December 28
    • Wednesday, December 29

Due to severe winter storm conditions expected through the early part of next week, ALL connecting bus trips east of Auburn to Truckee and Reno and between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe/Stateline have been cancelled on Monday, December 13 and Tuesday, December 14.
