Give Back this Season!

November 7, 2025

This holiday season, give back by donating or volunteering with local organizations in your local communities. In California, one in five people struggle with food insecurity. With national actions limiting critical food programs and resources, it’s more important than ever to support our local communities.

We’ve put together a list of food banks and volunteer opportunities covering the many areas we serve, and we hope you’ll join us in helping our neighbors during this season of giving.

One in four Alameda County residents is at risk of hunger. We’ve teamed up with the Alameda County Community Food Bank to help fight this crisis.  Drop off non-perishable food items at Oakland Jack London or Emeryville train stations from November 24 to December 17. You can also donate online or volunteer at an organization near you.

Check out the Alameda County Food Drive donation schedule below as well as other opportunities.

Thank you for supporting our communities!
