Great news for football fans! As the second half of the season gets underway, we have rescheduled trains for two upcoming games – the Raiders vs Chargers on Thursday, November
7 at the Coliseum and the 49ers vs the Seahawks on Monday, November 11 at Levi’s Stadium. Here are the details:
Oakland Raiders – Thursday, November 7
The Oakland Raiders will face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, November 7 at 5:20pm. We will extend westbound Train 541 to the Oakland Coliseum Station (normally it terminates at the Oakland Jack London Square Station.) The extended train will arrive at the Oakland Coliseum Station at 4:24pm, giving fans plenty of time before kickoff. For the return trip, eastbound passengers can catch the regularly scheduled Train 550, which departs Oakland at 10:05pm.
San Francisco 49ers – Monday, November 11
The undefeated San Francisco 49ers have an exciting game scheduled against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, November 11 at 5:15pm. So fans can use our service to get home from the game, eastbound Train 550 will be rerouted to depart from the Santa Clara-Great America Station instead of the Oakland Coliseum Station. The train will depart the San Jose-Diridon Station at 8:55pm, pick up passengers at the Santa Clara-Great America Station at 9:08pm and arrive in Sacramento at its regularly scheduled time of 12:12am, making all stops along the way. Please note that Train 550 will not wait at the Santa Clara-Great America Station past the 9:08pm departure time should the game run late. There will be no special service for trains in the westbound direction.
