Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors for winning the NBA Finals! There will be a celebratory parade and rally Friday, June 19. If you’re heading to Oakland on Capitol Corridor, be sure to check out our service and trip planning information. The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Broadway and 11th St., which is easily accessible by BART’s 12th St. and 19th St. stations (transfer to BART at Richmond or Oakland Coliseum) or by a 15-minute walk from the Jack London Square Amtrak station. Capitol Corridor will operate according to the regular weekday schedule, and no extra service will be added.

Limited Access to Truckee Depot Bus Stop During Truckee Thursdays

Every Thursday until August 20, 2015, from 2:30 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m., Donner Pass Rd. will be closed to ALL vehicle traffic for the weekly Truckee Thursdays street festival. The Capitol Corridor Thruway Bus service will not have access to the Truckee Depot during this time.

An alternate drop-off/pick-up location will be available in the parking lot behind the Truckee Beacon Gas Station at 10009 Donner Pass Rd., at the corner of Donner Pass Rd. and Bridge St.

Normal service will be available to and from the Truckee Depot during non-festival days and before 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

Regular Weekday Service on July 3

On Friday, July 3, Capitol Corridor service will operate according to the regular weekday schedule instead of the weekend-holiday schedule, as listed in the Capitol Corridor timetable. This change will provide passengers with more travel options for the July 4th weekend. When planning your travel for Friday, July 3, please refer to the regular weekday train times.

Rider Tip – See Track, Think Train

As a reminder, trains, whether it’s Capitol Corridor, freight, or some other service, can come from either direction at any time and can be very quiet. When you are around train tracks or at a station, obey all warning signs and signals and exercise caution when using headsets or cell phones. See tracks, think train!
