On Friday, March 23, due to a 7pm soccer match at Levi’s Stadium, Tasman Dr. between Great America Parkway and the Santa Clara/Great America Station will be closed starting at 2pm. Capitol Corridor passengers will be granted access to the Santa Clara/Great America Station at the security checkpoint located at the Tasman & Calle del Sol (Carl’s Jr.) intersection.
In addition, the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will post a security Officer at the entrance to the Great America Station P&R lot from 2 to 7pm to allow only Capitol Corridor & ACE passengers to park their vehicles there. Customers who enter the Great America Station P&R lot during this time will be asked to display their rail ticket to the security officer.
Passengers in this area should prepare for heavy traffic due to the event.
