On Sunday, September 22, the San Francisco 49ers will host their home opener at Leviβs Stadium in Santa Clara. Capitol Corridor customers who park at the station should be advised of the following:
Overnight Parking Prohibited in Yellow Lot #3
Overnight parking by train customers is not permitted on Friday or Saturday night. Any unauthorized vehicle parked in Yellow Lot #3 on Saturday morning may be towed. Thursday overnight parking is ok as long you are out by Friday morning.
Traffic Around the Santa Clara-Great America Station
Starting early Sunday morning, Tasman Drive between Great America Parkway and the train station will be closed. This will cause traffic delays for Capitol Corridor customers approaching the station. Passengers who plan to use the Park & Ride lot should be prepared to display their train ticket to the security officer, who will be stationed at the entrance.
