Students and parents . . . there’s no need to pay full price for travel, especially with Spring Break right around the corner! The Capitol Corridor, together with the San Joaquins in the Central Valley and the Pacific Surfliner in Southern California, is making sure students in the Golden State can save their hard-earned cash with California Everyday Discounts, which replaces Amtrak’s national student discount that was eliminated earlier in the year. Students who travel on the Capitol Corridor will save 15% by using the PROMO CODE V353 with the Adult Passenger Type. What are you waiting for? Book today for your Spring Break travel!

Cappy & La Croix!

Thank you to everyone who stopped in the Cafe Car for Cappy Hour. We hope you enjoyed the drinks, the food, the giveaways, and the fun! If you rode one of our trains with La Croix sampling and found yourself converted to the bubbly water, we carry Pamplemousse and Lime flavors in the Cafe car!

We’ll see you next Cappy Hour!

New Capitol Corridor Call Center Hours – Effective March 17

Starting March 17, the Capitol Corridor contact center will be open Monday-Friday, 8am – 6pm, and will no longer be open on weekends. The change in service hours is due to an overall drop in telephone calls, especially on weekends and a trend for customers to use other channels such as Twitter and our email/text alerts for information. We also provide answers to many of the questions riders ask on our website, in the FAQ section and First-Time Rider Guide. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some of you; however, we are confident that between our weekday hours, which are not changing, and the other available communication channels, you will have plenty of options for accessing information and having questions answered.
