The gifts don’t end just because the holiday season is over! The Capitol Corridor sponsored ice skating trips for three schools located at either end of our route.
On January 10, the clouds parted in the nick of time, and students from San Jose’s ACE Charter and Fischer Middle School were able to spend an afternoon trying their skills on the ice. Two days later, on January 12, we welcomed 140 6th grade students from Sacramento’s Arnold Adreani Elementary School to the Downtown Ice Rink for a spin.
We had a great time planning the events and students had even more fun on the ice! Check out some pictures of our fearless skaters.
