July 4th: Weekend/Holiday Schedule + Some Bus Stop Suspensions

In observance of Independence Day, the Capitol Corridor will operate according to the Weekend/Holiday schedule on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

On July 3 and 4, several connecting bus stops along the route will be suspended due to holiday festivities, crowds, and traffic congestion.

Wednesday, July 3

COLFAX, CA (COX)

The Colfax bus stop will be suspended after 1pm, affecting the following connections:

  • Bus 3528 connecting from eastbound train 728
  • Bus 3534 connecting from eastbound train 734
  • Bus 3543 connecting to westbound train 743

Thursday, July 4

SAN FRANCISCO (SFF & SFW):

The Financial/Hyatt (SFF) stop will be suspended, affecting the following connections:

  • Bus 6645 connecting from westbound train 745
  • Bus 6697 connecting from westbound train 747

The Pier 39/Fisherman’s Wharf (SFW) stop will be suspended, affecting the following connection:

  • Bus 6694 connecting to eastbound train 744

All other San Francisco connecting bus stops will have regularly scheduled service. Capitol Corridor passengers destined for San Francisco may connect to BART at the Richmond or Oakland Coliseum stations. BART provides direct service throughout downtown San Francisco. SPARKS, NV (SPX)

The Nugget Hotel & Casino bus stop will be suspended all day, affecting the following connections:

  • Bus 3578 connecting from eastbound train 728
  • Bus 3534 connecting from eastbound train 734
  • Bus 3537 connecting to westbound train 737
  • Bus 3543 connecting to westbound train 743

Passengers will be able to travel by connecting bus as far as Reno, and from there, you can take an RTC (Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County) bus to Sparks. Visit www.rtcwashoe.com/public-transportation for schedule information.
