Sierra Bus Service to Resume on Monday, December 9

Bus service in the Sierra will resume full operations between Sacramento and Reno and Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe on Monday, December 9.

Due to winter storm conditions forecast for the Sierra region this weekend, bus service between Auburn and Reno and Placerville and South Lake Tahoe has been suspended for Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2019. The following connecting bus service changes will be in effect on Saturday and Sunday.

South Lake Tahoe โ€“ Sacramento Connection:

  • Buses 3474 and 3447 will operate between Sacramento (SAC) and Placerville (PCV) only. Service to South Lake Tahoe (SLT), Stateline Nevada (SLN), and Stateline Transit Center (SLH) is cancelled.

Reno โ€“ Sacramento Connection:

  • Buses 3574, 3578, 3534 will operate Sacramento (SAC) โ€“ Auburn (ARN) only, with stops at Roseville (RSV) and Rocklin (RLN). Service to Colfax (COX), Truckee (TRU), Reno (RNO), and Sparks (SPX) are cancelled.
  • Buses 3537, 3543, 3599 will operate Auburn (ARN) to Sacramento (SAC) only. Service from Sparks (SPX), Reno (RNO), Truckee (TRU), and Colfax (COX) is cancelled.
