#SummerinSF with BART and the Capitol Corridor

June 26, 2018

Is a San Francisco Bay getaway part of your summer plan? It should be, and here at the Capitol Corridor, we’ve teamed up with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to make it easy and fun for you to enjoy your San Francisco escape. With #SummerinSF, we’re offering FREE weekend BART tickets on board Capitol Corridor trains. Each free BART ticket is good for one round-trip anywhere throughout the BART system, which connects to the Capitol Corridor route at two stations – Richmond and Oakland Coliseum.

How to Get Your Free BART Ticket

Free weekend BART tickets will be available in the Café Car of most Capitol Corridor trains starting the week of June 25 through July 29, 2018. During this time, all you need to do is ask the Café Car attendant for a ticket. You’ll receive one ticket, which you can use in one day, or on two separate days. The only restriction is that it must be used on a Saturday or Sunday between Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 29. Limit one BART ticket per customer and only while supplies last.

Savings on the Capitol Corridor

Along with your free weekend BART ticket, there are great savings to be had on the Capitol Corridor so you’ll have more cash to spend during your time in the city. Take your pick!

  1. BOGO Saturdays: Grab a friend to join you with Buy One, Get One Free on Saturdays through September 29, 2018. Book online, 1 day in advance.
  2. Friends & Family: Traveling with a small group? Buy one full-fare ticket and bring up to 5 companions for 50% off, every day of the week through the end of 2018! (Some black-out dates apply around Thanksgiving.) Book online, 1 day in advance.
