Partnerships that Begin with a Wrap

The Capitol Corridor has always looked to expand its reach and provide value to partners with fun and creative marketing strategies. One way we’re able to do this is with exterior train wraps. What are train wraps? For starters, they are a great way for our partners to reach a large, regional audience. It’s literally a huge, moving billboard that traverses Northern California – running from Sacramento, through downtown Oakland, and into San Jose – with 17 stops along the way. Train wraps are also “works of art” that our riders can appreciate when these train cars pull into a station and move through urban areas.

Currently, we have two train cars wrapped with high-impact designs – the Spare the Air train designed for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, and the Disney Aladdin train for SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco. Featuring strong and colorful visuals, images of a wrapped train car lend themselves to social sharing by those who see them, benefiting both the Capitol Corridor and our partners.
