June 20, 2024

Due to BART’s track improvement project between MacArthur and 19th/Oakland stations, the Red Line (Richmond-Millbrae) will be cancelled on the following weekends: June 22-23, July 20-21, August 17-18, September 21-22, October 19-20, and November 2-3, 2024.

The Richmond BART Station will be open for Capitol Corridor riders to travel through the station and board the bus bridge at Richmond. BART will provide a free bus bridge between Richmond Station and 19th/Oakland Station on all six weekends. Extra BART personnel will guide riders to the free buses.

Capitol Corridor riders who would normally transfer to the BART Red Line should instead:

  1. Take the bus bridge from Richmond Station to 19th/Oakland Station
  2. From 19th/Oakland Station, board a Yellow Line (Antioch-Millbrae) towards San Francisco

Riders may take AC Transit to the Salesforce Transit Center at Emeryville Station. Take the F bus at Shellmound Street & Christie Avenue, which an 8-minute walk from the Emeryville station and departs every 30 minutes on weekends.

Riders may also take our direct bus connection to San Francisco at Emeryville Station. Please be advised that there is a limited capacity you MUST have a train to bus connection (SFC) to use this service. The San Francisco bus stop is located at 401 Mission Street on the corner of Mission and Fremont Streets, right outside of Salesforce Tower, at the base of the Salesforce gondola.
