New Program Website and Survey Now Available; New Transbay Rail Crossing Report Released

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) and San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) are proud to unveil Link21, a transformational rail improvement program, and a new website that outlines the program’s objectives. Link21 will connect BART and Regional Rail (including intercity, commuter, and high-speed passenger rail) while also connecting people sustainably to employment opportunities and affordable housing throughout the 21-county Northern California Megaregion. At the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority’s (CCJPA) Board of Directors meeting on November 18, 2020, Don Saylor was elected to be next Board Chair. Director Saylor will assume this role from current Chair, Rebecca Saltzman, beginning on January 1, 2021. Better, Faster Wi-Fi on its Way to the Capitol Corridor

The complimentary Wi-Fi riders enjoy on board Capitol Corridor trains is about to get better and faster. Our Next-Generation Wi-Fi upgrade project has reached an important milestone, with installation of the equipment on individual train cars exceeding half the fleet. This is a huge step towards providing our customers with a premier wi-fi experience through a new network called YourTrainWiFi. More Better, Faster Wi-Fi on its Way to the Capitol Corridor
