Capitol Corridor Offers Special Service for Football Fans Traveling to Levi’s® Stadium for September 26th 49ers vs Packers Game

On Sunday, September 26th at 5:20pm the San Francisco 49ers will be facing the Green Bay Packers at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. Few tickets remain for this highly anticipated match, and to accommodate the large number of attendees, the Capitol Corridor will be running on an adjusted schedule, providing service to and from the game.

To get to the game on September 26th, fans can take either train 741 or 743 at their regularly scheduled arrival times of 3:37pm or 5:38pm, respectively. For their return, train 748 will run on an adjusted schedule, departing San Jose at its regularly scheduled time of 8:05pm, holding at Santa Clara-Great America station until 9:00pm, and finally arriving in Sacramento at 11:57pm. Times are being updated to reflect the changes, but tickets can be purchased for train 748 today!

Planning underway for service to 2021-22 season games so fans can avoid traffic and parking hassles  

On August 29th, the San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders will face each other at 1pm at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. With direct service to the stadium at the Santa Clara-Great America Station, he Capitol Corridor train is the best way to get into and out of Levi’s® Stadium for this at-capacity, pre-season game. LINK21 Will Shape the Future of Transportation in Northern California

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (Capitol Corridor) and San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), in coordination with several municipal and transportation agencies throughout the 21-County Northern California Megaregion, continue to host online public workshops for the Link21 Program. The series began on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

The next workshop will be held on Thursday, July 15, at 5:30pm for Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. Co-hosted by the City of Sacramento, the Yolo County Transportation District, and the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency, the interactive workshop will inform the public and gather feedback about transportation needs and priorities.
