At the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority’s (CCJPA) Board of Directors meeting on November 18, 2020, Don Saylor was elected to be next Board Chair. Director Saylor will assume this role from current Chair, Rebecca Saltzman, beginning on January 1, 2021. The Capitol Corridor route between Sacramento and Martinez passes through two important bird habitats, the Yolo Bypass and the Suisun Marsh, both of which provide nesting areas for many species of birds and other animals, plus winter homes and rest stops for thousands of birds migrating along the Pacific Flyway. On Monday, November 9, 2020, the Salesforce Plaza bus stop (SFC) in downtown San Francisco will move from its current location at the corner of Mission and Fremont streets to a new, nearby location at 555 Mission Street. The new stop is in front of Chase Bank, and is about a four-minute walk west along Mission Street.
