August 15, 2019

On Sunday, August 18, eastbound Train 748 will be rescheduled to accommodate fans attending the Rolling Stones NO FILTER concert at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. Train 748, which normally provides weekend service between the San Jose-Diridon and Sacramento stations

(departing San Jose at 9:10 pm and arriving in Sacramento at 12:14 am) will instead depart San Jose at 11:17 pm and pick up passengers at the Santa Clara-Great America Station at 11:30 pm. The train will not wait for late passengers. It will make all stops along the route and is scheduled to arrive in Sacramento at 2:21 am on August 19.

Ridership on Train 748 is typically low; however, those who were planning to take this train (but are not attending the concert) will need to plan their travel accordingly. If you are attending the concert and plan to travel there by train, please see our separate news article about the service.

Parking Policy for Yellow Lot #3 During Event Weekends
Please also note there is a parking policy being enforced for Yellow Lot #3 during all event weekends. To ensure this lot has available spaces for those people who are attending weekend events, Capitol Corridor and ACE customers may not park there for station access during event weekends. Any vehicle parked in Yellow Lot #3 on Saturday morning of a weekend Levi’s Stadium event may be towed. Passengers who want to park their vehicles over Thursday night and plan to exit the lot on Friday will be permitted to enter Yellow Lot #3 for Thursday overnight parking only. Parking staff will be stationed at the entrance of Yellow Lot #3 on each Thursday before a weekend event to secure the lot and ensure that it is available for event patrons.

Traffic Around the Santa Clara-Great America Station
For Capitol Corridor passengers who will be using the Santa Clara-Great America Station in the afternoon of Sunday, August 18, please be advised that because of the concert, Tasman Drive between Great America Parkway and the train station will be closed, which will cause traffic delays for Capitol Corridor customers approaching the station.

Additionally, there will be a security officer at the entrance of the Great America Station P&R lot from 2 pm to 7 pm to allow only Capitol Corridor and ACE train passengers to park their vehicles there. Customers who enter the Great America Station P&R lot between the hours of 2 pm and 7 pm will be asked to display their train ticket to the Security Officer.
