Here are some more steps from the station! Oakland Jack London Station is close to some amazing eateries, historic locations and more:

📍 Less than a 5 minute walk away from the station is the historic Heinolds’ First and Last Chance Saloon. Also known as “”Jack London’s Rendezvous””, it was the inspiration for scenes from Jack London’s novels ‘Call of the Wild’ and ‘The Sea Wolf’. You can’t miss seeing this incredible piece of Oakland’s history. Relax with a drink, browse some of the original historic decorations, and see the infamous slanted floor of the bar caused by the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906.

📍 @thaifarmhouseoak is also a 5 minute walk away from the station! Try some of the best Thai food on the waterfront with locally sourced ingredients.

📍 Another 5 minute walk away is the @leftbankbrasserie. Try authentic Parisian-style cuisine in a fun environment that will leave you wanting more.

You might recognize it as the golf spot that originated in San Francisco. Now open in San Jose, you can play a round of immersive indoor golf on ‘urban’ core landmark courses, enjoy delcious food and cocktails, and have fun with friends or bring the whole family!
