Much of what has been published about our service since COVID-19 came into our lives is that ridership is down, hovering at just 11-15% of normal ridership. New Program Website and Survey Now Available; New Transbay Rail Crossing Report Released

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) and San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) are proud to unveil Link21, a transformational rail improvement program, and a new website that outlines the program’s objectives. Link21 will connect BART and Regional Rail (including intercity, commuter, and high-speed passenger rail) while also connecting people sustainably to employment opportunities and affordable housing throughout the 21-county Northern California Megaregion. Looking back over the past 12 months, all of us would agree that throughout the challenging year that 2020 shaped up to be, it forced us to make the best of a situation. This may have meant more time reading, binge-watching series, gaming, or even picking up a new hobby.
