Trains Schedules Adjusted for Raiders Monday Night Football Game Against Denver Broncos on September 9

August 27, 2019

On Monday, September 9, 2019, the Capitol Corridor will adjust the schedules of two trains to accommodate fans attending the Monday Night football match up between the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos.

The Raiders are playing their final season at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, which is just steps from the Capitol Corridor’s Oakland Coliseum Station. Fans traveling to and from this station receive a 25% fare discount for travel to all Raiders home games.

Train 545 Extended to the Oakland Coliseum
So fans can travel to the Coliseum by train, the Capitol Corridor has extended Train 545 to terminate at the Oakland Coliseum Station instead of the Jack London Square Station. The train will arrive at the Coliseum Station at 6:48pm.

Train 550 Rescheduled to Depart 50 min Later
Eastbound Train 550, which provides service between the Oakland Coliseum Station and the Sacramento Station, will depart at 10:50pm instead of 10pm so fans attending the game will have time to catch the last train to Sacramento, with stops at all stations in between. Train 550 will not wait beyond the 10:50pm departure time should the game run late, and there will be no special service for trains in the westbound direction.

Other Adjusted Train Schedules Being Planned
In addition to the September 9 Monday night football game, the Capitol Corridor is also planning adjusted departures for upcoming San Francisco 49ers games at Levi’s Stadium, as well as other Raiders games in Oakland. Stay tuned for more information.
