On Sunday, October 24th at 5:20pm the San Francisco 49ers will be facing the Indianapolis Colts at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. To accommodate the large number of expected attendees, the Capitol Corridor will be running on an adjusted schedule, providing service from the Santa Clara-Great America Station.
To get to the game on October 24th, fans can take Train 741 at its regularly scheduled arrival time of 3:37pm. For those who don’t mind arriving late, Train 743 arrives at 5:38pm.
For the return, Train 748 will run on an adjusted schedule, departing San Jose at its regularly scheduled time of 8:05pm, holding at Santa Clara-Great America station until 9:00pm, and finally arriving in Sacramento at 11:57pm. Times are being updated to reflect the changes, but tickets can be purchased for Train 748 today!
In addition to avoiding the stress of traffic and parking, fans who take the train will be able to get an early start on tailgating by enjoying drinks and snacks available in the train’s Café Car.
Taking the Train to Games During the 2021-22 Season
Plan for the rest of the season by taking the train to the game. While we were able to adjust the train schedule for the September 26th and October 24th games, the Capitol Corridor’s regular schedule will accommodate fans taking the train to and from most of the other regular season games.
For the November 15th game against the Rams, Capitol Corridor staff is reviewing potential options for adjusting the arrival and/or departure times, so stay tuned!
