  • Bus operations are CANCELED between Auburn and Reno (HWY 80)
  • Bus operations are CANCELED between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe (HWY 50)
  • Connecting bus service between Sacramento and Auburn (HWY 80) will continue to operate as scheduled.

Capitol Corridor Onboard Ticketing Change

March 24, 2025

Effective Saturday, March 29, 2025, tickets will no longer be available for credit card purchase onboard. To avoid inconvenience, please buy your ticket in advance before boarding.  Passengers may continue to purchase tickets while onboard with cash, exact amount is preferred. 

You can purchase tickets from: 

  • Station ticket kiosks 
  • Station ticket agents 

Capitol Corridor offers flexible, unreserved service. If your travel plans change, no ticket modifications are needed. Tickets are valid for up to one year from the original date, with some restrictions.
