Service Advisory for Presidents’ Day Long Weekend

February 12, 2021

Please note the following service reminders for teh long Presidents’ Day weekend:

  1. On Monday, February 15, Presidents’ Day, Capitol Corridor trains and buses will operate according to our regular, weekday schedule.
  2. If you are planning travel on BART this weekend, please be advised that BART trains will not be running between the Richmond and and El Cerrito del Norte stations February 13-15, 2021. This will not impact Capitol Corridor train service at the Richmond Station; however, Capitol Corridor passengers who normally transfer to and from BART at the Richmond Station, will need to make alternate arrangements for travel between the East Bay and San Francisco. Read more about this here. On Monday, February 15, BART will operate on their Saturday schedule.

We hope you have an enjoyable Presidents’ Day weekend!

You may wonder, who are the people that make up that small percentage of riders who continue to travel with us? And what is it like riding the Capitol Corridor during a pandemic?
