New Bus Schedules Go into Effect on October 19
October 15, 2020On October 19, 2020, the Capitol Corridor will implement schedule changes for two connecting bus routes: 1) Service between Sacramento and Truckee/Nevada, and 2) Service between Martinez and Arcata/McKinleyville.
The updated schedules will not impact any other bus routes or any train schedules.
The changes are listed below, and the new schedules will be available online on Monday, October 19.
SACRAMENTO – TRUCKEE/NEVADA SERVICE
Eastbound:
- The weekday bus connection from Train 524 will connect instead from Train 532 and depart Sacramento (SAC) at 3:40 PM
- The weekend bus connection from Train 728 will connect instead from Train 732 and depart Sacramento (SAC) at 4:20 PM
Westbound:
- The weekday bus connection to Train 547 will instead connect to Train 537 and arrive in Sacramento (SAC) at 11:50 AM. This connecting bus trip will also operate on the weekends and connect to Train 737.
MARTINEZ – ARCADA/MCKINLEYVILLE
- The bus that connects with weekday trains 532 and 537 and weekend trains 728 and 737, will serve the Eureka (EKA) and Arcata (ARC) stops 15 minutes earlier, and will not serve the McKinleyville-Airport stop (MKV).

New Hours for Davis, Martinez, Emeryville, and San Jose Stations Begin in October
In early October, the hours of the Davis, Martinez, Emeryville, and San Jose stations will change. Davis and San Jose will also adapt a Monday through Friday schedule and no longer be open on weekends. The new station hours and their effective dates are indicated below.
