On Friday, October 24, the Cal Bears football team will be taking on the University of Oregon at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara beginning at 7:00 p.m. As a result of this event, significant traffic congestion around the Santa Clara/Great America Station is expected. Tasman Dr. between Great America Pkwy and the station will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to Midnight.
If you need to access the station . . .
During the afternoon commute, ACE and Capitol Corridor passengers will be allowed through the Tasman Calle de Sol check points to access the rail platform and the VTA park & ride lot; however passengers will need to show their rail tickets. The ACE shuttle buses and other rail shuttles will also be able to access the station on Stars & Stripes from westbound Tasman and the Calle de Sol check point.
If you park at the VTA park & ride lot . . .
In addition, VTA will have a security officer protecting the parking spaces in the VTA park & ride lot for rail passengers from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
