Service Advisory: Bus Bridge and alternate schedule for trains July 13 & 20, 2013

On Saturday July 13 and Saturday July 20, 2013, the Union Pacific Railroad is upgrading track infrastructure between the Martinez and Emeryville stations, where they will install a new bridge at their own expense. During this track work project, some morning and early afternoon Capitol Corridor trains will not operate between Martinez and Emeryville Stations. Instead, connecting buses will carry passengers between the Martinez, Richmond, Berkeley and Emeryville stations, and trains will operate on the remainder of the route on a modified schedule.

The following trains will be cancelled, with no alternate service provided:
732, 745, 738

The following trains will be bus-bridged between Martinez and Emeryville:
Westbound trains: 727, 733, 737, 741, 743, and 747
Eastbound trains: 724, 728, 734, 736, 742, 744, and 748

Train 751 will operate as a bus, making all scheduled station stops.


Minor changes to the Capitol Corridor train schedule – effective July 15, 2013

Effective July 15, 2013 Capitol Corridor will be implementing some minor changes to our train schedule. Trains 520 and 522 will begin operating 5 minutes earlier between Oakland Jack London and Sacramento. As a result of this schedule change, the connecting motorcoach buses from San Francisco stops for Trains 520 and 522 will also be departing 5 minutes earlier.
Train 529 will begin operating 5 minutes earlier between Auburn and Sacramento. Train 529’s schedule will remain unchanged between Sacramento and Oakland Coliseum. These schedule changes are designed to allow for better transit connections at the Sacramento Valley station.

Temporary Relocation of San Francisco – Shopping Center Station (SFS) – July 12-14, 2013

Due to a roadway improvement project in San Francisco beginning Friday, July 12, 2013 the San Francisco – Shopping Center at Market & 4th (SFS) station will be relocated to the Market Street and Grant Avenue Muni Stop. This is located between 3rd and 4th Streets in front of the Four Seasons Hotel. Thruway buses will stop at this temporary station from 6:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2013 through 12:00 midnight on Sunday, July 14, 2013.
