1. Stitch ‘n Ride with Debbie Stoller- December 7th
**********************************************************************
Tomorrow, you’re invited to stitch ‘n ride with New York Times
best-selling author Debbie Stoller from Sacramento to San Francisco’s
Union Square shopping district. The author of Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation
will talk about her new book, Son of Stitch ‘N Bitch, while showing
off hot new patterns and sharing tricks of the trade. Books will also
be available on board the train for purchase.
Train 537 departs the Sacramento station at 12:10pm, and arrives in
San Francisco at 2:55pm.

3. Trackwork December 8-9
**********************************************************************
This Saturday & Sunday, Union Pacific track crews perform maintenance
on our tracks between Martinez and Suisun/Fairfield. From 6:00am –
6:00pm, Capitol Corridor trains will operate on a single track.
Passengers may experience short delays, but this maintenance should
have a minimal impact on our operating schedule

4. Busy Holiday Travel Season
**********************************************************************
December is a busy time of year on Capitol Corridor, as many
passengers travel by train to their holiday destinations. When
planning your travels, remember to allow extra time for parking and
purchasing your train ticket. When possibly, purchase your ticket
ahead of time online.
Capitol Corridor will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule on the
following dates:
Tuesday, December 25, 2007
Tuesday, January 1, 2008
Regularly scheduled service on all other days.

5. New Richmond Transit Station
**********************************************************************
Capitol Corridor passengers traveling to and from the Richmond station
now have a stylishly new and safer place to connect to BART, wait for
a bus and even shop. Passenger-friendly amenities such as a covered
waiting area, transit ticket counter, service concession, restrooms
and multi-agency police patrol stop were all designed into this new
3,700 square foot transit center, which is located up the BART
concourse stairs.
