Davis Car Free October

Davis Car Free October

During the month of October, the City of Davis will be encouraging residents to do their part to help reduce their environmental impact by using alternatives to car travel. “Car Free” events are scheduled throughout the month, and the city will reward those who walk, bike, use public transit, or rideshare with prizes and giveaways. More Sacramento Station Parking Improvements

The City of Sacramento has been working over the past two years to improve the parking lot at the Sacramento station. Thanks to these efforts, new smart parking payment machines have been installed for faster and more reliable transactions. These new parking meters will also allow customers to pay using a mobile device with the Parkmobile app, which you can register for online or download from the app store on your mobile device. The parking rate at the lot is $3/hour, with a $10 daily maximum. During the week of September 15, parking attendants will be at the lot to answer questions and help with the new payment stations. Step-by-step directions will also be available at the parking meters. More information on the new parking meters and pending improvements to the parking lot is availablehere.
