1. Potential Delays at Davis Station February 2nd-4th
**********************************************************************
Union Pacific will be conducting a track replacement project at the
Davis station this weekend. In order to minimize delays to
passengers, most of the work will be performed overnight; however,
some evening and morning trains may be affected. This work will impact
Capitol Corridor train service to/from Davis and Sacramento with
potential 15-20 minute delays due to trains using the Davis wye to
load/unload passengers and change ends. Your patience, understanding
and cooperation are appreciated.

3. Stitch ‘n Ride tickets are now on sale!
**********************************************************************
We’re very happy to announce that tickets are now on sale for our
annual Stitch ‘n Ride train to Stitches West 2008!
This year we will host a special train dedicated just for yarnaholics
that will incorporate many of the fun features you have come to enjoy
during past Stitch ‘n Ride events- like goody bags and prize
giveaways. Traveling via train, you can enjoy the company of other
knitters traveling to the convention, share ideas and showcase your
prized projects to others.
It’s a fantastic way to travel to the convention, plus it’s pleasant,
easy and cost-effective! Capitol Corridor will provide a free shuttle
from the train station to the convention center for our Stitch n’ Ride
event on February 23rd or, enjoy a short 10-15 minute walk to the
convention center. We look forward to seeing you aboard on February
23, 2008!
