Independence Day Schedule

For Independence Day, the Capitol Corridor intercity passenger rail
service will operate regularly scheduled Weekend/Holiday service on
Saturday, July 4, 2009. On Friday, July 3, Capitol Corridor will run
on its regular Weekday schedule.

Sacramento Station Parking Rates

The City of Sacramento has announced that they will increase its
parking rates at the city-owned Sacramento Valley Station parking lot.
Effective August 1, 2009, the daily rate will increase from $6.50 to
$9.00, and the monthly rate will increase from $99.00 to $110.00. The
$4.00 all day Commuter Special, for passengers in by 7:30am and out
after 5:30pm, will remain in effect. For information, call

Up to two kids ride free with each full-fare paid adult (valid
Saturday and Sunday only). Please use fare code V213 when booking

This summer and through October 31, 2009, seniors aged 62 years and
over can save 50% off their travel aboard Capitol Corridor trains when
traveling Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
This is a huge savings from Capitol Corridor’s everyday 15% senior
discount!
You can purchase tickets online, at a staffed station, at a Ticket Kiosk
machine, or onboard, if boarding from an unstaffed station. To take
