From the Blog: Weekend Picks and Docks to Delta

Capitol Corridor blog Docks to Delta

Need a little inspiration for the upcoming weekend. Check out our blog for “Cappy’s Weekend Picks” and find fun activities along the Capitol Corridor. While you’re on the blog, check out another recent post about the Docks to Delta group trip. Last month, the California Institute of Rural Studies (CIRS) hosted an educational program on board a Capitol Corridor train that attracted 85 participants, including several reporters and bloggers, as well as a documentary film maker. The program, entitled Docks to Delta: Listening to the Landscape Along the Capitol Corridor, used a live story-telling format via audio headsets to share the rich agricultural history of the region through which the Capitol Corridor travels. The program will be available to passengers and the public this winter via a smart phone app.
