Now it’s even more relaxing to take the train!
Oakland, CA – Capitol Corridor will offer a new relaxing amenity to passengers during a pilot program with Massage Therapists offering neck and shoulder massages aboard train 538 starting January 13, 2003.
The certified Massage Therapists will ride train 538 Monday thru Thursday for one month departing Oakland at 3:30pm headed towards Sacramento. All massage therapists are certified through The National Holistic Institute located in Emeryville, CA and are independent operators. Passengers may take advantage of the $1 a minute fee while relaxing and riding aboard train 538. The massage therapists will be giving their therapeutic services in their special massage chairs in the lower level of one of the cars. The program will end on February 6, 2003.
