Bus Connections in San Francisco Temporarily Suspended for Bay to Breakers on Sunday, May 17

Philip Krayna Service Alerts

On Sunday, May 17, thousands of runners, joggers, and walkers will descend on San Francisco for the 104th Bay to Breakers road race. Due to extremely congested conditions, service to several Capitol Corridor connecting bus stops will be suspended until 12:00 p.m. on that day. The affected bus stops are the Moscone Convention Center (SFM), Shopping Center (SFS), Financial District/Hyatt Building (SFF), and Fisherman’s Wharf (SFW). The Transbay Temporary Terminal (SFC) and Caltrain (SFP) bus stops will not be affected and will maintain regular service. Trains that may be affected are:

Eastbound: 720, 724, and 728

Westbound: 723, 727, and 729

Passengers who normally access these stops can walk to the Transbay Temporary Terminal located at 200 Folsom St. by crossing Market St. at either 7th St. or the Embarcadero. Alternatively, you can take the Muni ($2.25) to Embarcadero station, and then walk south on Main St. to Howard St. towards the Transbay Temporary Terminal, which is about a 10 minute walk. (Check with www.sfmuni.org to confirm service for that day.)
