At approximately 4:20 p.m. today Capitol Corridor temporarily suspended train service between Oakland Jack London Square and Emeryville stations due to a UPRR freight train derailment at 34th Street in Oakland about a quarter mile west of the Capitol Corridor/Amtrak Emeryville Station.
Trains are delayed systemwide due to a track obstruction between Oakland Jack London & Emeryville. There is currently no Capitol Corridor train service between these stations at the time of this update (6pm).
Passengers are advised to seek alternate forms of transportation for this evening’s travel.
