Capitol Corridor Service Advisory Giants Victory Parade to Affect Some San Francisco Capitol Corridor/Amtrak Bus Connections October 31, 2012 from 9AM – 5PM

Due to the more than a million cheering fans expected in downtown San Francisco, tomorrow Wednesday, October 31, 2012, San Francisco’s Market Street will be closed to traffic between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The Capitol Corridor will suspend motorcoach bus service to and from Emeryville to the Civic Center, 4th and Market Shopping District, Financial District-Hyatt, Moscone Center, Fisherman’s Wharf-Pier 39, and the Ferry Building Annex.
Service will continue in both directions between the Emeryville station and the Caltrain Depot (located at 700 4th Street at Townsend, SF 94107)in SF only, subject to delay, during the parade and street closures.
Trains operating on October 31, 2012 with normal bus connections:

Westbound: 521, 523, 525, 527, 543, 545, 547, 549, 551

Eastbound: 520, 522, 524, 526, 544, 546, 548
Affected Trains with bus connections stopping at Caltrain Station only:

Westbound: 529, 531, 533, 537, 541

Eastbound: 528, 530, 532, 534, 536, 538, 540, 542
Passengers currently holding train tickets traveling westbound to San Francisco on trains with minimal bus connections may go the Café Car and secure a BART ticket from the Café attendant by presenting their SF ticket for inspection as proof they are a San Francisc bound passenger.
Passengers from San Francisco traveling eastbound should go the Caltrain Station located at 700 4th Street at Townsend, SF 94107, for a regularly scheduled bus departure, or use BART to Richmond to connect with a train. If using BART, note that the BART fare is $4.30, one way and it takes 35 minutes to get from Embarcadero Station to Richmond.
