On Saturday, January 15, 2011* passengers traveling on the following Capitol Corridor weekend trains WILL BE TRANSPORTED BY BUS between the Suisun/Fairfield and Martinez train stations:
Westbound Trains: 733, 737 and 741
Eastbound Trains: 728, 732 and 734
This may result in delays of approximately 20 minutes for passengers traveling aboard these trains.
All other trains will operate as scheduled.
This service change will allow Union Pacific’s track crews to perform maintenance on the Benicia- Martinez Bridge. These upgrades will allow the Capitol Corridor and other trains to operate at maximum authorized speed throughout that area and avoid possible future delays due to the rail condition.
