Trains 524 and 533 are currently canceled due to an earlier mechanical problem aboard Train 524.
Passengers planning to use Train 524 for travel between Emeryville and Sacramento will be re-accommodated aboard Train 526.
Passengers planning to use Train 533 for travel between Sacramento and Oakland Coliseum will need to use Train 535 as an alternate, which departs Sacramento at 10:10am.
Capitol Corridor operates with an extremely limited amount of train sets (we currently have 8 sets of equipment that run continuously throughout the weekdays to operate our 32 train schedule). When an issue arises along the route affecting one set of equipment, this often affects multiple trains. Unfortunately, Capitol Corridor has neither extra cars, nor extra locomotives available on short notice to assist when a mechanical problem occurs en route.
