Service Advisory January 23 – February 15, 2012: Weekday Train Service Delays and Weekend Bus Bridge between Richmond and Berkeley Stations

Union Pacific track crews will perform the first portion of a railroad project to replace the bridges under the mainline tracks near Berkeley beginning January 23, 2012. This could affect all Capitol Corridor trains operating between the Richmond and Berkeley stations between 7:00pm and 12:00am (midnight).

Weekday Capitol Corridor Trains:
The following evening trains could experience delays between Richmond and Berkeley stations of up to 25 minutes.
Eastbound: 544, 546, 548
Westbound: 547, 549, 551, 553

Weekend Capitol Corridor Trains:
The following evening trains will have a bus bridge in place between the Richmond and Berkeley stations the weekends of January 28-29, February 4-5, and February 11-12, 2012.
Eastbound: 744, 746, 748
Westbound: 747, 749, 751

Bicycle Advisory:
Passengers who plan to travel with bicycles aboard the weekend trains 744, 746, 748, 747, 749 and 751 are encouraged to use BART between Richmond and Oakland Coliseum due to limited space for bicycles aboard motorcoach buses.
