As the result of Union Pacific programmed track maintenance and improvements on main track 1 between Colfax and Rocklin, Capitol Corridor trains, which typically operate on Track 2, may encounter delays do to re-routing of train traffic for the remainder of January and the month of February.
When this track work project transitions from main track 1 to main track 2 sometime in late February or early March, it will be necessary to provide a bus bridge between Rocklin and Auburn for Capitol Corridor trains 536/736 and Auburn and Rocklin for trains 529/729.
We will provide you with advance notice of the firm dates for this work and bus bridge affecting the Capitol Corridor as soon as we have that information. In addition, we will provide details on additional parking alternatives at Rocklin station for those who choose to drive between Auburn and Rocklin.
