Two events will close the Thruway bus stop at the California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo.
- Saturday, August 25, 2012 – 0600-1800, for crosswalk painting. Many streets will be closed so the paint can dry.
- Wednesday, September 12, 2012 – 0600-1800, for “move-in day”. Streets are closed as the students arrive and move into their residence halls.
The Cal Poly Thruway stop (SLP) is affected by the street closures, and the following buses will not stop at SLP on August 25 and September 12:
- Bus connection from Trains 523 & 723
- Bus connection from Trains 527 & 727
- Bus connection from Trains 537 & 737
- Bus connection to Trains 532 & 734
- Bus connection to Trains 544 & 744
- Bus connection to Trains 546 & 748
Passengers may use the stop at the downtown Amtrak station (SLO) as an alternative on these dates.
