Service Alert: Temporary relocation of Amtrak/Capitol Corridor motorcoach bus stop to Placer County Library parking lot
Effective November 13 – 16, 2012 ONLY
The Amtrak/Capitol Corridor motorcoach bus stop has temporarily moved to the Placer County Library at 350 Nevada Street in Auburn, CA. Buses connecting to Capitol Corridor trains will pick up and drop off passengers at this temporary Placer County Commuter Express bus stop.

Service Alert: Temporary relocation of Amtrak/Capitol Corridor motorcoach bus stop to Placer County Library parking lot
The City of Auburn has informed the Capitol Corridor and Amtrak of a parking lot paving project scheduled to begin on November 13, 2012 and conclude at the end of the day on November 16, 2012 in the lower lot of the Multi Modal Parking lot in Auburn, pending weather conditions. If weather delays the project it will be rescheduled for a date after Thanksgiving Holiday Week.
The upper parking lot will be available for passenger parking, and the contractor will provide traffic control to allow traffic through the construction site. Passengers may also utilize the parking lot near the Placer County Library at 350 Nevada Street, Auburn CA during the dates of the paving project.
Unfortunately, Amtrak motorcoach buses and local Transit buses will not be able to utilize the regular pick-up/drop-off point during this paving project.
Instead, from November 13 – 16, 2012 Amtrak motorcoach buses and Placer Commuter Express buses will utilize the Placer County Library parking lot, located at 350 Nevada Street in Auburn, CA for picking up and dropping off passengers.
Placer County Transit, Auburn Transit, Gold Country Stage will utilize Enterprise Drive for the Transfer Point.
