Service to San Francisco Bus Stops Suspended During World Series Parade Friday, October 31

Philip Krayna Service Alerts

Due to the World Series victory parade and preparations, San Francisco’s Market Street and Mission Street will be closed to traffic between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Friday, October 31. The Capitol Corridor will suspend motorcoach bus service between Emeryville and the Civic Center (SFV), 4th and Market Shopping District (SFS), Financial District (SFF) and the Moscone Center (SFM).

Service will continue at the Ferry Building (SFC), the Caltrain Station (SFP) and Fisherman’s Wharf (SFW) but may be delayed due to extreme traffic congestion along the Embarcadero.

Connections to/from the following trains will be temporarily affected by this change:

  • Eastbound – 524, 526, 528, 530, 532, 534, 536, 538, 540, 542, and 544
  • Westbound – 523, 525, 527, 529, 531, 533, 535, 537, 541, 543, and 545

Passengers who normally use these bus stops may take Muni Metro streetcars, subway, or BART to a stop near the Ferry Building bus stop. The closest stops are at Folsom St. on the surface or Embarcadero in the subway, which are a short walk to Ferry Building. Muni Metro fare is $2.00, and BART fare from Powell or Civic Center is $1.85. Please allow enough travel time to transfer successfully to your Capitol Corridor train.
